What We Do
ThrillAppeal publishes buying guides, how-tos and comparisons for five families of action sports: skating, scooters, biking, water sports and snow sports. The goal is simple: help you choose gear that fits your body, your terrain and your budget, and learn the skills to enjoy it safely.
Who Writes the Guides
Guides are written and maintained by the ThrillAppeal Editorial Team. Each guide is reviewed when products, sizing standards or safety guidance change, and the date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
How Guides Are Researched
- Buying guides compare published specifications, sizing charts, materials, weight limits and warranty terms from manufacturers and retailers.
- Safety information follows recognized standards and official guidance, such as CPSC and ASTM helmet standards and US Coast Guard life jacket rules.
- How-to guides break each skill into steps and point out common mistakes and safety precautions.
- Where information is uncertain or varies by brand or location, the guide says so.
